Thanks Ross. Your prayers must have helped. We dodged the bullet
this time. Somewhere between 700,000 to 900,000 area folks departed
to places from north Mississippi, Texas, west/north Louisiana, and
Arkansas. We were lucky to have friends in Lafayette. They shared
floors and furniture among seven people (one bedroom apartment, three
days). On our migration westward (interstate highways were parking
lots) a State trooper told us that they were prepared to handle
thousands of drowning victims over a few weeks. Lucky? YES.

Now please pray for the people affected in Florida, Alabama,
     Mississippi, and Georgia.
