I have added Costoanachis avara to my series on Florida Costoanachis.
Comments and/or additional information and photos of this shell are

The presentation of Costoanachis translirata (Ravenel, 1861) has been
expanded presenting shells from the north Atlantic and NE Florida.  Harry
has suggested that the Gulf of Mexico version of this shell differs
significantly.  However, I have no shells from the GOM and would like to
hear from those who have some to share, loan or sell.
