I hate to dash your hopes, but writing around to museums probably would be a
big waste of time. Did you not note where Reeve obtained these species?
P. coccinata was stated to be from his own collection so it was probably
sold. It may have been labeled as type when sold as Reeve was aware that
they were worth more! If still extant it could be anywhere.
P. fuscata was in the collection of the German Counsel, Gruner. His
collection was sold in 1857 and its whereabouts is unknown although it was
supposedly sold as a collection.
Sorry I cannot hold out much hope for the success of your search.
