Years ago I remember reading (I think it was in an intro to a book on mollusks) a statement which
said something like, "almost all mollusks are edible, but not all of them are considered palatable."

Does that ring a bell for anyone? if so can someone tell me where to find that statement?

Many thanks for any help you can give me,

Susan J. Hewitt
