Mary,

Welcome to the list! A fun place (if you can ignore the occasional
outburst) with great people. A member of the Jacksonville Shell Club?
You guys have an incredible web site and Bill Frank has helped me out a
number of times with images and information. Now for the serious stuff
-- tacos for breakfast are okay but a good burrito or better yet an
omelet with lots of green chile, now that is a breakfast!

I have a few very small (less than 5 mm) shells I collected in Oahu,
Hawaii that I am sure are littorina but I have no idea what species. If
you will send me your snail mail address (nothing against snails) I will
send you three or so and you can see if you can identify them. You are
more than welcome to keep the shells. I only have a few as I have
slowly sent them off in trades over the years. So far no one has
identified them. It would be nice to finally label the last few. I
would have written privately but wanted other Conch-Lers to here about
your club's great web site. If you want the shells just let me know at

See ya,
