A key ingredient in humor is blatant absurdity. If one doesn't
know enough about a shell to realize that it a.)extremely rare
and b.)not found at snorkelling depths, then the joke has gone
"over your head."
 
Timing is another key component. See if you might notice that it
is part of this "joke."
 
As far as wiping out populations, mankind has tried for centuries,
yes CENTURIES, to wipe out the Money Cowry... as we've failed badly!
