have you looked at Perna viridis (L.,1758) aka the green mussel?  It has a
bright green periostracum and a slight greenish undertone in the pearly nacre.
It's listed in compendium. It is supposed to be quite common in the sw pacific
region. The only specimens I have seen were from my evolutionary bio prof's
dinner plate. He called them New Zealand mussels
