Dear Jim,
Back in the "good old days" [early 60s], I did find a number of P. ziczag off
Destin, northwest Florida. Apparently, they are quite rare in this area, as I
only found a total of 5 dead specimens [always near an octopus hole] and I do
not remember ever finding any in less than 100 feet of water....on top of the
5 intact specimens, I found maybe 4-5 top halfs over a period of several
years. They are here, but I never had the feeling that they are a common
species this far north!
