Dear All:
        I just wanted to make everyone aware that my post regarding a
Tridacna species was a joke to coincide with The April Fool's tradition.
Marlo and I have received emails from those who took it seriously.  I
apologize.  I thought I had made the story too ridiculous to be believable,
but apparently not.  For the record, TRIDACNA APRILIAUNO, Dr. Tom Foolery,
and the scientific journal THE MALACOLOGICAL EXPOSITOR are all fictitious and
are merely figments of my overactive imagination.  I regret the deception to
those who believed the story, but for those who do not know me, I am the
WORST PRANKSTER.  Remember this next April Fool's Day.  I will be back.
