I couldn't tell, Mark.  I tried prying their itty-bitty mouths open,
but their lips were sealed...

Actually, I have a couple of clumps of sea grass that came from the
area where the cowries were collected (some of the cauricas were
burrowed down in this stuff) and some algae-covered rocks from the
same area in the aquarium.  I don't know if they are eating anything
in the aquarium, but they seem to enjoy crawling around on it.
