Amen, Peter, Amen. If people want to debate these issues, it seems that
they should send their agreement or rebuttals to the person who originally
posted the message (for whatever reason they may have done that to
begin with). What's the point of arguing things like this in a forum designed
to accommodate discussion regarding molluscs. If we start thinking every
peripheral issue is worth addressing, the Conch-L server will be jammed.

It's not that I don't respect or support everyone's viewpoint - I do! It's just
that I long to see a post that actually concerns shells from time-to-time.
