This brings by memories of the 60-70's. My son was being punished and was
not allowed to leave the house for one month except to go to school. But we
knew he needed something constructive to do with his time.

We gave him permission to redecorate his room. He line three walls with
dark brown cork, got me to make draperies from black material, and painted
the fourth wall flat black. Using fluorescent paint, he painted the sun in
the corner of the room, then our galaxy as it radiated out. His entire
class took a field trip and walked the one block to our house to see it, and
he got an A in the class.

He continues to do outstanding things, and is very successful in his chosen
career.

Not shell related, but how well I remember all those fluorescent tubes and
how odd people's teeth and certain clothing looked.
