If this is the one I have in the office, it ran to 6 volumes and contains a
lot of important stuff including many of Conrad's new species and lots by
Pease too. I thing Gabb wrote on fossils in it too. It's scarce, but not
ridiculously so. The plates are nice, and the standard generally very high
for the time. The first Nautilus volumes (the Conchologists' Exchange) look
and sound similar.
