The Shell Museum has posted in its web site a picture of the drift line on
Bowman's Beach, Sanibel, the day (18 September 2000) after Hurricane Gordon
passed offshore, moving in N-NE direction in the Gulf of Mexico. Resolution
is not too good, but the picture gives an idea of the density of mollusks
on the beach after that storm.
Check it out at www.shellmuseum.org/sanibel_shells.html
Cheers,
José
