Hello Ross,

I believe the shell in question is Trigonostoma crenifera Sowerby, 1833.  It
is quite common in India.  It is similar to T. scalariformis, but is a bit
more squat in form, with a lower spire.  Also it is usually less colorful
than T. scalariformis.
