Those glazed specimens are really interesting!   Another appearance to

I have always considered this species to be one of the most beautiful of
all of the Cypraea.

Greetings list...

I've always been curious why this different coloration occurs in C.
spadicea...  can anyone tell me why?   (links to photos)  One is bluish-grey
in the margins where the 'normal' shell is creamy white usually.
