<Nice one, Ellen. I've yet to find one of those in any condition. I have
found Simnia uniplicata in beach drift in NC. Again, that seems exotic
and
Floridian to me.

This was about a two-hour boat ride offshore. Go out with Olympus and
you'll find interesting stuff. And no competition from other divers.
They're all wrecky-techies looking for artifacts from the wrecks.
I've never found any Simnia nor seen a live one anywhere. Where do they
get off calling them "common"?
