The entire Shell Museum community is devastated
after learning of Marilyn Northrop loss in Bali.
Marilyn was a past curatorial assistant at the
Museum, a very active member and exhibit chair
with the Sanibel-Captiva Shell Club, and, drawing
from my experience as scientific judge of shell
shows in many years, one of the best shell
exhibitors in the country and in the world. I
want to believe that she is now strolling the
soft sands and quiet waters of some distant atoll
beach looking for the rarest murexes...
