The present publication is a first complete catalogue of the marine,
freshwater and terrestrial molluscs of Russia and countries of the former
USSR. The check-list contains 6 classes, 265 families, 937 genera and 3708
species of the Mollusca. References on original descriptions, short synonymy
and data on distribution for each species are given. Also, short important
remarks for some species are provided. The list of Bibliography contains
1757 references.
