I have 4 specimens of Naquetia barclayi/annandalei (all from Philippines)
with intact protoconchs.

I am reluctant to lend these, because of the appalling mail service to and
from here (Siargao, Philippines), but I could try photographing their
protoconchs.

Tucker Abbott and Dance, in 'Compendium of Seashells" show them as two
separate species, from distinctly different areas, and I have to say that I
see Harry G Lee's Conus barclayi, from
Madagascar,http://www.jaxshells.org/barclayi.htm
as quite different from my uniformly similar small series.

regards

Richard
