Hi Conus expert,
you surely know that the  Mediterranean species Conus mediterraneus
Hwass in Bruguiere 1792 is also known as C. ventricosus Gmelin 1791.
It seems accepted that the first name is the right one despite Gmelin
taxon being earlier.
I'm asking if you know a paper stating that after 1981.
