Thanks, Ken, I hope even more casual collectors, enthusiasts, and
researchers will take advantage of the revamped resource.

Subject: Re: [CONCH-L] New Version of Southwest Florida Shells Guide

José, I also want to commend you and the online guide of SW Florida shells.
The images and the descriptions are excellent. The new version is even
better, especially the images. This guide has encouraged me and others to
look for shells that are not on the list. This has been both fun and
challenging. The quality and comprehensive nature of this online ID guide
obviously reflect countless hours, long term effort and dedication on your
part. Thank you. Ken

I am glad to let you know that, as part of the new, recently launched Shell
Museum website, I am introducing a new version of the SW Florida Shells
online ID guide. Some families of marine gastropods (e.g., Tornidae,
Eulimidae, Aclididae, many Pyramidellidae) are still lacking, but you find
most of the shallow-water species one can find in the area. Check often for
updates!
