Hi to all,
The Greater Miami Shell Club is having their annual auction this Saturday,
October 2.  It will be held at the North Miami Jaycee hall, 12100 W. Dixie
Highway, North Miami, FL, with the viewing at 6 pm, and the auction to begin
at 6:30 pm.  If you are close to us, please come by.  We will have over 300
shells or shell-related items up for bid.  Of special note is a live taken
Pleurotomaria species from the Gulf of Mexico - I am not sure of the
identification, but believe it to be either P.amabilis or P.maureri, with an
opening bid of $100.00  Outside bids are welcome.  I do not have exact
details as to size and condition, but believe it to be about 50mm high and in
Fine condition, with operc. Please contact me off the List at
