The Astronaut Trail Shell Club presents its 39th annual Space Coast Seashell Festival, the weekend of January 19-20, 2019 at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave., Melbourne, FL 32935. Hours are: Saturday, January 19th, 9am-5pm and Sunday, January 20th, 9am-4pm. Admission: Free. There will be educational exhibits, both scientific and artistic, for this family style event. This year's judges will be: Scientific - Dr. Gary Schmelz of Naples, David McAllister of Nautical Treaures Shell Store in Melbourne Beach, FL (a long time shell collector, including a paper nautilus from our beach) and Artistic - Carol Haugh of Satellite Beach, Florida.
Seashells dealers and shell craft artists will sell their wares, there will be an exciting raffle and each attendee will take home a free seashell.
