to add on: as noted in Marlo's post (cut and paste of shell
descriptions) the TX Encyclopedia notes for branhamae:   "Off Port
Isabel" and "Rare in TX- only record is from Rehder and Abbott, 1951"

here is the data from the bibliography (pg 472):  Rehder and Abbott
1951- Some new and interesting mollusks from the deeper waters of the
Gulf of Mexico; Revista de la Sociedad Malacologica "Carlos de la
Torre"  8:  53-66.


So , if anybody has that publication, presumably the details of the
specific find(s) are presented therein.
