I recently planned a family vacation on a shelling article in a travel
magazine. When we got to the exact area and spent a week beachcombing we
found nothing but old washed up shells. We brought a lot of these home and
treasure them but how does one improve the odds of finding shells in a less
eroded state? We even planned this trip to coincide with the high tide but
like I said - no undamaged "fresh" shells. What's up?
