Scott,

Great scans, thanks.  I would still call the middle one Strombus alatus,
even though it does look like an intergrade.

So, like many stromb species, S. alatus appears to be extremely variable.
It will be interesting to see some other variations -- Phyllis plans on
getting a scanner and that sounds like a perfect test subject!!
