In Seashells of Tropical West America by Keen, in reference to the
family Nuculanidae, the following statement appears: "Hinge teeth are in
two series, anterior and posterior, separated by a resilifer that lies
just under the opistogyrate (backward-pointing) beaks".  Could someone
define this term for me?  Thanks.
