After noting the questions and answers regarding the Sowerbys recently,
I came across a paper by Katherine V. W. Palmer in the Hawaiian Shell
News November, 1965, December, 1965 and January, 1965.  This gives a
good amount of details on the 5 Sowerbys, and seems of general interest
so it will be reprinted in the Internet Hawaiian Shell News in February,
2002.
