Dear all,
Further to Wolfgang's shells:
2 Lima lima
9 Eucithara lyra
12 Monodonta labio
13 Clanculus atropurpureus
14 Epitonium lyrum
15 Epitonium pallasi
16 a trochid or turbinid, but definitely not Peasiella (Littorinidae)
Regarding Clanculus atropurpureus, there is also a red variety. Sometimes
people tend to call these C. denticulatus (Gray). However, if they are from
a tropical Pacific location, they are also C. atropurpureus. BUT, if they
are from SOUTH-western Australia, they can be C. denticulatus proper, which
is NOT a synonym of C. atropurpureus. There are distinct differences
between these species in microsculpture and dentition of the umbilicus
