This subject must have come up before, but anyway...

If you want the labels in your collection be readable 100 years from now it
is recommended that you use archivals inks, among other things. One company
that claims to make such inks is Sakura. Their Gelly Roll brand pens are
quite good (No, I don't work for Sakura).

They discuss the archival quality of their inks on their website in the FAQ
section (http://www.gellyroll.com/products/faq.html).
