The great exhibits in the shell shows would also, with little modification and a good photographer, make great articles in American Conchologist.  Not everyone who wants to can get to these shows, and many who do see them wiould like to get much more time to learn from these exhibits.  I am sure there are people willing to help convert from one format to the other, to help bring the exhibits to a larger audience.
