Dear Conchlers,

In response to errant slugs and snails- Ortho makes a very effective
bait/poison that works great! "Bug-Geta Snail and Slug Killer". Other
methods include burying a container of beer near the trouble spots- the
snails can't help themselves and will crawl in (to their demise), placing a
barrier of agricultural grit in a circle around chewed up plants (the
slugs/snails won't cross it), or placing a copper "collar" around the lowwer
stem- again they won't cross it. The most humane method is to pick off the
most you can at night :( Sorry to be so vigilante against our beloved
invertebrates!

Sincerely, Matt
