I would appreciate assistance in identifying a specimen of a Lienardia I
collected in Manihi, Tuamotus, French Polynesia. I posted pictures of
the 14 mm. shell on my web page:

The closest comparable shells I have seen in pictures on the web are
Lienardia roseotincta, but I think it probably is not that species. One
of its most prominent features is a deeply channeled suture. The upper
margin of each lower whorl forms a sharp edge that slightly overlaps the
suture. That feature is visible on the posted labial side view.
Please help, all you turrid experts (is that an oxymoron?). :)
