Hi All!
Back on the list after a few months stop. The thing is : We're going to Eastern Australia with my wife , sept 2, for tourism, surfing and diving on the GBR. If possible, we would like to collect a few shells and meet local collectors. We travel 3 weeks from Sydney to Cairns. If any of you Aussies out there on the net feel like meeting us some time, please reply direct to [log in to unmask]
Oh yes, we're French and Swedish, 34 & 27, and we've been collecting shells for 6-7 years with the following characteristics :
We collect all shells. Of course we have a special taste for cones &cowries but we do like them all
We collect what we pick up ourselves (95%) or what we exchange or are given
We love Nature and are very interested about the animal in the shell, and are very conscious of preservation and environnment.
We have collections from the Caribbean (extensive), Gabon, Tahiti, Indonesia, Mediterrannean, Canary, New Caledonia, Sweden (that's a joke : 3 shells!), etc;

If there's any shell you would like and we could bring, let us know.
