Yes, Olivier, I am also quite curious about this topic
and would like to her a specialist comment. Nice you
could bring this taxonomic problem up.
In the book Seashells of Portugal turbona and
monterosatoi are listed as separate species. In
CLEMAM, monterosatoi is listed as a syn.of turbona.
Here in the Algarve the only "form" or "species" that
shows up is monterosatoi ... or should I call it
turbona? :-)
