I agree that the specimen is Linatella caudata (but am unsure whether
the ending should be a or um).

Linatella, on shell characters alone, is not distinct from Monoplex.
Monoplex is distinct from Cymatium ss, which has only a very few and
very distinctive species (lotorium, femorale, ranzanii, triangulatum
(=perryi) and one other which I can't think of just now.

The rest of "Cymatium" belong to various genera, most of which are
more-or-less clearcut (ha!), such as Gelagna, Ranularia etc.
