The collection of Brusina is stored in the Croatian Natural History Museum, including the holotypes. Please sea: Vesna Stamol, The main collection of recent Molluscs in the Croatian natural History Museum. Natura Croatica 7(2(: 159-167.

According to Cleevely (1983: 70), the species he described were probably in 
the Museum at Agram, Croatia.  Brusina donated Tertiary fossils from 
Dalmatia and Croatia to the BM(NH) [now The Natural History Museum] in 1883 
but there is no statement that it was type material.
