I checked the COA convention dates twice for the Sept issue twice with the Boston folks, so they should be accurate.

The latest COA journal give the dates as follows:

Convention dates August 26th through August  31st
with pre-convention tours August 26th and 27th

This is from the September 2009 Vol.37, No.3, which I just got in snail mail a few days ago.
