I'm with Ellen! A simple name.  The rig name would have been a good one.
BP actually owned the lease and contracted with others to drill it.
What a mess to say the least.

I remember the early 80's Extok (phonetic mostly) Mexican Oil company
blow out not much south
of Brownsville.  It threw tar balls over the southern coast for years.
At least they floated in
and were under sand to step on anyway.
