The author's name is Alcide Charles Victor Dessalines d'Orbigny.  The d' is
often omitted in References due to editorial policies.  It is sometimes
rendered as "Orb." when citing author and date of a species, but I object to
that in principle.  The d' is used in the pronunciation of his name.

The dating of some of his works is still problematic but the best available
data yields an earliest date for this species as 1853.  Until recently it
was considered to have been published in 1842.

not in Harry Lee's book, check it at
