And R.T. Abbott in "American Seashells" states of A. nobilis that it is "usually associated with sea pansies" (p. 97, Second Edition). So a predatory assumption might be made from that note also.

They are stumped regarding what to feed them, however. All I have been able to come up with so far is that they feed exclusively on hexacorallians. Can anyone expound on this? Are they picky eaters or will they feed readily on anemones and/or hydroids? Does size matter?
