I do not know the so-called “new species” named Harpa kolaceki is nothing
but Harpa vamouretta (cf. the geographical records for amouretta in Rehder’s
monography).

Does anyone have the email address for a dealer by the name of Kolacek?  I
have a specimen of the newly named Harpa kolaceki which I collected in the
Marquesas in 2000.  Until recently I did not know what it was until I saw
one on the ShellAuction offered by him.  I would like to contact him as I
think he might be interested.
