Greeting!

Could Conch-Lers give me some advice on how to use glycerine (or other
products) to preserve the periostracum on a Cymatium? Do you immerse the
shell in pure glycerine - or do you use a more dilute solution(and if so,
diuted with what?). I recently bought some "glycerol" here and it did have
the effect I had seen in the past in softening and preserving the perio of
the shell I am trying to preserve.

Any advice on what I should do?

Michael
