Small addition: the familyname of d'Argenville was Desalliers (or
Dezalliers) d'Argenville. He was a councillor to the king of France.
The Desalliers family were seigneurs of Argenville.

When styled as d'Argenville it's only his nobility title. If people want
to use his proper name it would be Desalliers (or Desalliers d'Argenville).

Sincerely, Erick
