The original specimens were brought to life by Australian collector Stephen Maxwell of Queensland, Australia. He had 100's before going to New Zealand. This is an indigenous species to the Queensland area, mostly around the Dingo Beach area. I have the original paper, just need to figure out where it is. There's one figured on eBay right now but is mis-identified.
