On a related note, the molecular data tend to support the view that
Lunarca and the "subgenera" of Barbatia as recognized in Abbott are
not particularly closely related to each other and should be
separated. However, a thorough effort to sample type species of
proposed genera around the world will be necessary to get a solid
consensus.
