Here are a couple of dumb questions:

I have a 49mm diameter "sp." from Belgium that looks mightily like
Marisa cornuarietis.
Does it occur in Europe? Or is the locality incorrect?
Is there anything else that it could possibly be?
And lastly, am I the only one who had Marisa classified in
Planorbidae for decades? (And why is it in Ampullariidae?)

Thanks for any insight,

John
