just double checked our databases. The one who used "daranganicus" was
Abbott in the Compendium of landshells. Now cleared.

The species is named for its type locality, and the original spelling is not
only rendered correctly in a linguistic sense, it is a correct original
spelling under the provisions of the Code.

On a totally unrelated note, I am looking for a specimen of Achatina
iredalei. Any leads?
