Hi, everyone!
I too have found the WoRMS database to be a great taxonomic resource, and I use it frequently. I have found that, if there are any omissions or any errors to be fixed, the editors will quickly make the corrections once any problem is brought to their attention. Keep up the good work WoRMS staff!

I have found that no ONE database should be considered
the final say. Check
two or three for dates, at least and then the original
description, if possible
and if there is a discrepancy. If WoRMS is not correct,
bring it to their
attention, but just because 2 percent may be incorrect is no
reason to throw the
entire endeavor into the trash can.
My firm belief is there has NEVER been a book
written about any
subject that has no errors.
For American shells I check Malacolog, WoRMS, Turgeon
et al 2nd ed. Then go
from there.
Keep up the good work WoRMS staff.
